IVANHOE
Mechanical interlocking installed 1905
Closed December 16, 1993, demolished winter 1994-1995

Crossing with Elgin Joliet & Eastern.

TOLLESTON
Mechanical interlocking installed before 1895
Closed late 1960's, remotely controlled by dispatcher

Former crossing with Pennsylvania Railroad Fort Wayne Division. Some connecting tracks were added after Penn Central merger in 1968, with dispatcher assuming control of the interlocking. Now is a junction with Chicago Fort Wayne & Eastern, operating former Pennsylvania Railroad route southeast.

LAKE STATION
Non interlocked junction

Former junction with Joliet Branch, which was mostly abandoned in 1976. This town was renamed East Gary in 1908, desiring to associate itself with the newly developing steel city. But was renamed back to Lake Station in 1977, when being linked with Gary was less desirable.

WILLOW CREEK
Mechanical interlocking installed before 1895
Closed 1980's

Crossing and junction with CSX former Baltimore & Ohio and New York Central lines. Until 1983, the Wabash Gary District also crossed here.
