Basically a double track line with single direction ABS, except for a few short segments of single track CTC. On the Burlington Route this had been the La Crosse Division, headquartered at North La Crosse Yard. It is likely that the few CTC installations were eventually controlled from North La Crosse.

Little is understood about this interlocking. Reportedly an automatic interlocking, but apparently only including crossovers on a double track line.
