Burlington and Milwaukee Road operated paralleling lines south of Savanna. Except between Ayres and Ebner, the Burlington line was on the east side. In 1934, the Milwaukee Road abandoned its own line between Ayres and Ebner, and began using trackage rights over the Burlington line.

South of Savanna, originally known as Plum River. Crossing with Milwaukee Road Savanna-Moline line, after 1934 a junction of these two lines when the Milwaukee Road replaced its own line south with trackage rights via the Burlington line.
EBNER

Originally a crossing with Milwaukee Road Savanna-Moline line, as well as a junction with the Milwaukee Road cutoff line northeast to Ashdale along its main line to Chicago, and a junction with the older Burlington line southwest through Fulton. In 1934, the Milwaukee Road replaced its own line north with trackage rights via the Burlington line. In 1952, the Milwaukee Road abandoned the Ashdale cutoff, and also that decade Burlington abandoned its line to Fulton.
