AMERICA'S STREAMLINERS
MISSOURI PACIFIC
(PRE WW II)
The Delta Eagle utilized a unique Electro Motive locomotive, basically an E6A with a "missing" engine and a baggage compartment in its place. Not included on this page is the Colorado Eagle, introduced June 21, 1942 between St. Louis and Denver, and perhaps the last new streamliner introduced until the end of the war.
Only streamlined trains and the most important stations are shown.
