LAKE COOK AREA SHUTTLE BUG ROUTES

Network of reverse feeder routes serving employers in the Lake Cook corridor, using small buses. Originally publicly assigned a series of low numbers beginning with 1, while routes originally had three digit route numbers assigned internally by Pace. Although the three digit numbers gradually became more widely used publicly. Unless noted, routes operated by Pace North Shore Division. Some of these routes were subsequently discontinued, all remaining service suspended effective 4/13/2020 due to covid-19 pandemic.


621 - Shuttle Bug #11 - rush hour reverse feeder route introduced 11/13/2000, connecting the Highland Park Metra station with employers in Bannockburn. Discontinued 11/7/2003.

622 - Shuttle Bug #12 - rush hour reverse feeder route introduced 11/13/2000, connecting the Deerfield Metra station with employers in Bannockburn. Discontinued 1/30/2012.

623-624 - North Glenview Shuttle Bug - two rush hour reverse feeder routes introduced 6/11/2001, connecting the North Glenview Metra station with employers near Willow Road and Sanders Road. Route #624 was discontinued in 2008.

625 - Lake Forest Shuttle Bug - rush hour reverse feeder route introduced 6/11/2001, connecting the Lake Forest (UP) Metra station with employers in Mettawa. Discontinued in 2017.

627 - Discover-Takeda Shuttle Bug - rush hour reverse feeder route introduced 10/23/2006, connecting the Lake Cook Road Metra station with employers west of there.

628 - Shuttle Bug #8 - rush hour reverse feeder route introduced 9/13/99, connecting the Braeside Metra station with employers west of there. Around 2012 operations assumed by city of Highland Park.

629 - Shuttle Bug #9 - rush hour reverse feeder route introduced 9/13/99, connecting the Braeside Metra station with employers west of there. Around 2012 operations assumed by city of Highland Park.

630 - Shuttle Bug #10 - rush hour reverse feeder route introduced 9/13/99, connecting the Braeside Metra station with employers west of there. Discontinued in 2001, restored 6/7/2010, discontinued again 1/9/2012.

631 - Shuttle Bug #1 - rush hour reverse feeder route introduced 1/26/98, connecting the Lake Cook Road Metra station with employers west of there.

632 - Shuttle Bug #2 - rush hour reverse feeder route introduced 1/5/98, connecting the Lake Cook Road and Deerfield Metra stations with employers west of that area.

633 - Shuttle Bug #3 - rush hour reverse feeder route introduced 10/27/97, connecting the Lake Cook Road Metra station with employers west of there.

634 - Shuttle Bug #4 - rush hour reverse feeder route introduced 3/2/98, connecting the Lake Cook Road Metra station with employers west of there.

635 - Shuttle Bug #5 - rush hour reverse feeder route introduced 10/27/97, connecting the Lake Cook Road Metra station with employers west of there.

638 - Shuttle Bug #6 - rush hour reverse feeder route introduced 2/8/99, connecting the Lake Cook Road Metra station with employers west of there. Discontinued 3/14/2002.

639 - Shuttle Bug #7 - rush hour reverse feeder route introduced 2/8/99, connecting the Lake Cook Road Metra station with employers west of there. Discontinued in 2008.

640 - Braeside-Commercial Avenue Shuttle Bug - rush hour reverse feeder route introduced 11/24/2014, connecting the Braeside Metra station with employers west of there.
