MUNICIPAL/MISCELLANEOUS NORTHWEST/WEST

These routes were usually operated by individual villages, or by contract operators, often school bus companies. All of these routes were subsequently discontinued.

430 - Wheeling-Spruce/Cedar Run - operated by Village of Wheeling between around 1973 and 1977, providing midday service.

431 - Wheeling-Tahoe/Buffalo Grove - operated by Village of Wheeling between around 1973 and 1977, providing midday service. Some service replaced with introduction of route #234 effective 12/6/76.

432 - Wheeling-Sunset/Manchester - operated by Village of Wheeling between around 1973 and 1977, providing midday service. Some service replaced with introduction of route #234 effective 12/6/76.

433 - Wheeling-12th/Strong - operated by Village of Wheeling between around 1973 and 1977, providing midday service. Some service replaced with introduction of route #234 effective 12/6/76.

434 - Wheeling-Northbrook - operated by Village of Wheeling between around 1973 and 1977, rush hour feeder route connecting with Northbrook railroad station.

440 - Melrose Park - bus service replaced 1/3/84 by routes #441-#442.

441-442 - Melrose Park - free bus service introduced by village of Melrose Park 1/3/84, two route numbers were for opposite direction loops. Discontinued in 2000.
