CHICAGO'S LOST STATIONS

ELGIN JOLIET & EASTERN

Only operated passenger trains until 1909, knowledge of former passenger stations is scattered.

Waukegan - station was located southeast of the intersection of Madison St. and Pershing Rd., on the east side of the track.

Lake Zurich - station was located on Park Ave. south of Old Rand Rd., on the west side of the track. The building still stands.

Aurora - station was located southwest of the intersection of Woodlawn Ave. and Garfield Ave., on the east side of the track.

East Aurora - station was located south of the intersection of Lincoln Ave. and Logan St., on the north side of the track.

Plainfield - station was located south of Main St., on the west side of the track.

Joliet - station was located northeast of the intersection of Clinton St. and Michigan St., on the east side of the tracks. The building still stands.
