Rock Island did not join Amtrak in 1971, and was required to continue operating its intercity passenger trains from Chicago to Rock Island until 1978. Final stations on this segment were Sheffield, Geneseo, Rock Island.

Tiskilwa (122.4) - station was located west of State St., on the north side of the tracks. The station building still stands.

Sheffield (136.5) - station was located west of Main St., on the north side of the tracks.

Geneseo (159.1) - station was located east of Oakwood Ave., on the south side of the tracks. The station building still stands.

East Moline (175.1) - station was located west of 9th St., on the north side of the tracks.

Moline (178.9) - station was located at 18th St., on the south side of the tracks.

Rock Island (181.1) - station was located at 31st St. and 5th Ave., on the south side of the tracks. The station building still stands.

Davenport (182.8) - station was located at 420 Main St.
