Because the Youngstown and Akron transit systems were under common ownership during many years, transferring buses between the two systems was common. GM TDH-4517 buses 133-142 would have been the only "New Look" buses to operate in Youngstown prior to public ownership. But those buses on the property would have inflated the value of the transit system, and would have justified higher fares than the city was willing to approve. So those buses were transferred to Akron, without ever operating in Youngstown.
