Cars 600-623 plus a private car Meramec were originally numbered 100-124 for St. Louis & Suburban Railway. Most of the original cars 100-124 were destroyed in a carhouse fire in 1903. Surviving cars were 100, 102, 103, 105, and 111, 102 became Meramec and others renumbered in 1911 to 620-623. Twenty replacement cars received in 1903 were first numbered 101, 104, 106-110, 112-124 for St. Louis & Suburban Railway, renumbered in 1911 to 600-619.

Cars 624-673 were originally numbered 200-249 for St. Louis & Suburban Railway, renumbered in 1911.

Cars 677-695 were originally acquired by St. Louis & Suburban Railway, original numbers unknown. Cars 696-699 were originally acquired by St. Louis & Kirkwood Railway, original numbers unknown.

Cars 850-853 were originally acquired by St. Louis & Kirkwood Railway, original numbers unknown. Cars 854-890 were originally acquired by St. Louis & Suburban Railway, original numbers unknown.

Cars 892-894 were originally acquired by Southern Electric, previously numbered 930, 936, 945.

Cars 1203-1207 were motorized from trailers 109, 122, 127, 154, 155.

Cars 3000-3002 were each formed by splicing two former St. Louis St. Charles & Western Railroad cars together, former numbers 8 and 9, 5 and 6, 10 and 7.

Car 3003, previously 3005, was originally a St. Louis St. Charles & Western Railroad 2. Car 3004 was originally a St. Louis St. Charles & Western Railroad combine, original number unknown. Cars 3006-3009, 3011 were originally St. Louis St. Charles & Western Railroad 4, 11, 3, 14, 18.
