Segment from Shabbona to Paw Paw was abandoned early, 1939. After then, this line was combined with line from Sheridan to Paw Paw, connecting with main line at Earlville. Line was also later combined with segment west of Sterling to Denrock, which was originally part of a route from Sterling to St. Louis.
