Metropolitan Lines - connected Phoenix with Tempe, Mesa, Scottsdale.
Old Pueblo Transit Co. - served Tucson and suburbs, successor to Occidental Bus Lines.
According to December 1977 issue of the magazine "Motor Coach Age", Occidental Bus Lines began operations in 1924, and was reorganized in 1945 as Old Pueblo Transit Co. And was still operating in 1977, with a subsidy. In addition, there was a company Mountain View Bus Lines, which began operations in 1936, and was acquired in 1941 by Tucson Rapid Transit Co.
Mt. Lemon Bus - existed in 1930's.
Consolidated Stage Lines - existed in 1930's, apparently operated since 1921 between Globe and Miami.
Payson Stage - existed in 1930's.
Pleasant Valley Stage - existed in 1930's.
Bus companies operating over longer distances than the above suburban and interurban companies, but not listed in the Russell's Guide.
Arizona Bus Lines - intercity served Phoenix, Gila Bend, Ajo, Tucson, Mammeth, Hayden, also existed in 1930's.
