MICHIGAN'S INTERLOCKINGS

NEW YORK CENTRAL

Saginaw Branch/Bay City Branch/Midland Branch

Segments now owned by various short line operators, some segments abandoned.

Numerous industrial and belt lines existed in the Saginaw and Bay City area, which included various interlockings. Because of many historical inconsistencies in the naming of interlockings, and the early closure of some interlockings, it has not been possible to provide complete historic information. Included are confirmed interlockings with longer histories.
