SEABOARD AIR LINE
(POST WW II)
Joining the Silver Meteor after the war were the Silver Star and the Silver Comet. Service between New York and Florida remains important for Amtrak, but some service was shifted to the formerly competing Atlantic Coast Line trackage. Those two railroads of course merged in 1967, forming Seaboard Coast Line, eventually evolving to part or CSX.
Only streamlined trains and the most important stations are shown.
