Passenger service retained by Amtrak in 1971.


DELAWARE & HUDSON

In the early 1930's, Delaware & Hudson discontinued its passenger service in Schenectady. Although in 1979, Amtrak adopted the route through Schenectady for its service between New York and Montreal.
