Most stations were still in operation until the formation of Amtrak in 1971, when intercity trains were initially discontinued. Exceptions were Coloma, Zeeland, and a station not listed in Granville. Amtrak restored service in 1984 with stops in St. Joseph, Bangor, Holland, and Grand Rapids.

Michigan City IN (127.0) - station was located west of Franklin St., on the north side of the track.

St. Joseph (87.9) - station was located south of Broad St., on the east side of the track. The station building still stands, Amtrak continues to stop there.

Benton Harbor (87.5) - station was located west of Shore Dr., on the south side of the tracks. This was a Union Station, shared with New York Central/Big Four.

Coloma (76.2) - station was located east of West St., on the north side of the track.

Watervliet (73.8) - station was located east of 1st St., on the north side of the track.

Hartford (68.8) - station was located north of Main St., on the east side of the track.

Bangor (60.5) - station was located north of Monroe St., on the west side of the track. The station building still stands, Amtrak continues to stop there.

Fennville (40.6) - station was located south of Main St., on the west side of the track.

Holland (25.3) - station was located north of 8th St., on the west side of the track. The station building still stands, Amtrak continues to stop there.

Zeeland (19.1) - station was located west of Elm St., on the south side of the track.

Grand Rapids (0.0) - Union Station was located at 61 Ionia Ave. SW.
