In 1967, Metro Transit became responsible for all transit lines in the Kalamazoo area. The last streetcars ran in 1932.


KALAMAZOO TRANSIT HISTORY

In 1885, the Kalamazoo City & County Street Railway Co. introduced horse car service in Kalamazoo. Various companies operated the streetcars and buses throughout history.
