INDIANAPOLIS STREETCARS - 1923
Streetcar routes operated by Indianapolis Street Railway Co. in 1923, shown in red, prior to the introduction of bus service. Interurban segments are shown in gray, and were operated by various companies, most notably the Terre Haute Indianapolis & Eastern Traction Co. (THI&E), and the Union Traction Co. of Indiana (UTC). In addition, the Beech Grove Traction Co. operated a line to that southeast suburb.
